The story of the legendary French perfumer Diptyque dates back to 1961 when three friends; Christiane Gautrot an interior designer, Desmond Knox-Leet, a painter, and Yves Coueslant, a theater director, opened a shop for one-of-a-kind fabrics, chic furniture, and accent pieces on 34 Boulevard Saint-Germain.
The birthplace of Diptyque now has its own signature line, “34”, a unique scent available for the body and home, as to give everyone the chance to experience a small portion of this place and its history. Today, the label is best known for its richly scented home candles, eau de toilette and home fragrances, to be worn by man or woman, and more.
